Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Aqua Zone Swim School. By enrolling yourself or your child into lessons, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General

Aqua Zone Swim School lessons are managed by Pool Manager Jezz Rutt and the Aqua Zone teaching team.

We aim to provide a safe, enjoyable and supportive learning environment for all swimmers.

2. Lesson Payments

• Lessons are booked and paid for in 10-week blocks.
• Payments are made via Direct Debit through our SwimSoft system.
• Payment must be received by the requested due date to secure your child’s place.
• Fees may occasionally be reviewed, and parents will always receive notice of any changes.

3. Missed Lessons

Unfortunately, missed lessons cannot be refunded, credited or transferred. This includes absence due to illness, holidays or other commitments.

4. Lesson Dates

Lessons run throughout the year except for short breaks during Christmas and Easter.

Families will not be invoiced for dates where lessons are not running.

5. Medical & Contact Information

Parents/guardians must provide accurate medical, emergency and contact details when registering with Aqua Zone Swim School.

It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to notify us of any changes to these details.

6. Supervision & Safety

• Children remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian until their lesson begins.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children in changing areas and around the pool building before and after lessons.
• Parents/guardians and swimmers are expected to follow all poolside safety instructions given by staff at all times.

7. Physical Support in Lessons

Swimming teachers may need to provide physical support or guidance in the water to ensure swimmer safety, confidence and correct technique.

All Aqua Zone staff are appropriately qualified and DBS checked.

8. Parking & Site Access

Parking is available in the designated lower car park or along the main entrance avenue.

Parents and swimmers must not park near the rear gates, as these areas must remain clear at all times for emergency service access.

9. Respect for Local Residents

The pool is situated within a residential area. We kindly ask all swimmers and families to be considerate of local residents, particularly regarding noise levels and behaviour when arriving and leaving the site.

10. Photography & Mobile Phones

• Photography or filming on poolside is not permitted without prior permission from Aqua Zone Swim School.
• Mobile phones should not be used in changing areas.

11. Personal Property & Vehicles

Aqua Zone Swim School cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, vehicles or property while attending lessons or using the site car parking areas.

12. Health & Safety

Aqua Zone Swim School follows appropriate health and safety procedures and maintains accident and incident records where required.

13. Injuries & Accidents

While every reasonable care is taken to provide a safe swimming environment, participation in swimming lessons is undertaken at the swimmer’s own risk.

Aqua Zone Swim School, its staff and instructors shall not be held responsible for injuries or accidents occurring during lessons except where caused by proven negligence.

14. Illness & Pool Closures

In the event of pool closure, severe weather, illness outbreaks or circumstances outside of our control, Aqua Zone Swim School reserves the right to amend lesson arrangements where necessary.

15. Damage to Property

Parents/guardians are responsible for any wilful or negligent damage caused by swimmers or spectators to the pool facility, equipment or surrounding property.

16. Changes & Cancellations

Aqua Zone Swim School reserves the right to make changes to lesson times, teachers or class arrangements where necessary.

Should lessons need to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, we will communicate with families as soon as possible.

17. Behaviour

We expect all swimmers, parents and spectators to behave respectfully towards staff, swimmers, other families and the facility.

Aqua Zone Swim School reserves the right to refuse admission or withdraw lessons where behaviour is considered unsafe or inappropriate.

18. Data Protection

Personal information provided to Aqua Zone Swim School will only be used for lesson administration, communication, safeguarding and operational purposes.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties outside the normal running of the swim school.

19. Acceptance

By continuing with lessons at Aqua Zone Swim School, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
