Please ensure that children arrive on poolside no more than 5 minutes before their lesson starts.
Children are expected to behave respectfully during lessons. Disruptive behaviour may result in the child being asked to leave the lesson.
During Swimming lessons children under the age of 8 will not be allowed to go to the toilet alone, they must be accompanied by their parents or carers. Parents and carers must stay on site for the duration of the 30 minute lesson and those with children under the age of 8 should be in the vicinity of the Viewing Gallery at all times. If for any reason you are requested to attend the poolside we ask that you use the over-shoes provided.
Children aged 8 and above are required to use the appropriate changing room. We can offer an alternative option for children with additional needs. If you would like more information on these options, please feel free to get in touch with the Swim School Manager or one of our reception team members.
Children should not swim if they are feeling unwell. Hair should be tied back, and whilst swimming hats are not compulsory, we do recommend their use.
Photography or filming is strictly not permitted.
No refund will be given if your child does not attend the course - this excludes medical reasons for which you can provide accompanying documentation.
In the unlikely event a class has to be cancelled due to last minute teacher absence or unexpected closure of the pool, a back up date (same day and time) will be allocated. Every best effort will be made to ensure this is not during state-school holidays but can not be guaranteed.
Classes will only run if 4 or more children enrol.
Wellington Health and Fitness Club reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians.
