Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

The following terms and conditions apply to you (parent/guardian), of any child attending swimming lessons here at Dizzy's Dolphins Swim School. Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

  • By booking your child for swimming lessons with us, you accept these terms and conditions and they will form a binding contract between you and Dizzy's Dolphins.
  • You will ensure that your children and any other children you bring to the swimming pool will follow the general swimming pool rules set out at the end of these terms and conditions and any rules that are specific to the pool you are attending.
  • We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice to you.

2. Cancellations

  • You will be automatically renewed in to the next swimming term, unless told otherwise.
  • Our timetable is subject to change based on demand, so please be aware that your Childs class may change day/times.
  • If you request to cancel your course after the start date, you will still be liable to pay for half a terms fee.
  • If you request to cancel one week before the payment deadline, you will still be liable to pay a £20.00 admin fee.
  • If by chance, there is an issue with the pool where we have to cancel the lesson, Dizzy's Dolphins will try and give you a make-up lesson or, show as a credit on the next terms fees.
  • If lessons are cancelled due to weather restrictions, such as snow, no credit or refund will be given.

3. Parental responsibilities

  • You are responsible for any children you bring with you into any part of the swimming pool venue.
  • You must ensure that your child has visited the toilet prior to entering the pool.
  • You must not leave the premises whilst your child is in the pool.
  • You must not take any photography of your child or others, unless given permission by one of our team members.
  • All medical conditions must be disclosed before the first lesson, and any changes in the future.
  • Children must wear apropraite swim wear. All children not potty trained, must wear a swim nappy. 

4. General pool rules

  • Shoes must be removed before entering the poolside or overshoes worn.
  • No buggies are allowed in changing rooms or on the poolside (please use buggy bay at Tylers Green).
  • Swimming hats are advised to be worn by all children aged 3 years and over with long hair.
  • Children may wear goggles from 3 years old, but we reserve the right to remove them if they cause disruption in the class.
  • No running on poolside.
  • No food or sugery drinks on poolside.
  • Swim nappies must be worn for all babies/toddlers.
  • Please allow 48 hours before entering the pool after sickness and diarrhoea.
  • Please do not put any wipes, nappies, or hand towels down the toilet. Use bins as required.
  • Please do not come swimming if you have COVID-19.
  • No parking on site during school hours - please park on road or free public car park past the school (Tylers Green Middle School).

 

*Many of our instructors teach in the water to assist and help their pupils; teaching with a hands-on approach, to ensure your child is safe, and is performing the correct positioning and strokes.

*The safety of the children here at Dizzy's Dolphins, is our number one priority, and our teaching style reflects the importance of this.

 

DISCLAIMER

Dizzy’s Dolphins and all team members cannot accept any responsibility for any incident that may occur on poolside. Your child/children are our responsibility while having their lesson in the water; however, as soon as their 30-minute lesson is over, you (parent/guardian) must take full liability.
