- If you miss a lesson for any reason, we are unable to offer a refund, catch up lesson, credit or have the lesson transferred to another swimmer.
- In the unfortunate event Watford Girls Grammar School cancel a lesson/amend the term dates, we will notify parents/carers via email and text message. We will endeavor to add an alternative date, if we are offer an alternative date the lessons will not be eligible for a refund or credit or to be transferred. If you are unable to make the alternative date, the lessons will not be refunded, credited or transferred.
- Changing the time and/or day of your child’s lessons once term has started may incur an admin fee of £5.00.
- Our minimum swimming age is 3.5 years old.
- Any child whose behaviour compromises the safety of themselves, or others will be asked to leave.
- Payment must be made before the course begins.
- If you have two or more children booked onto a course, payment can be made in two installments. 50% at the time of booking to secure the places and the final 50% by the second payment date stated on your confirmation. By completing this form, you are committed to paying for the whole term.
- Your child/ren are NOT automatically added to the next course, please look out for renewal emails after half term.
- Instructors who work in the water will teach by supporting the body and aiding correct stroke technique through demonstration and manipulation.
- The use of cameras, camcorders or mobile phones on poolside or in the changing area is strictly prohibited.
- Outdoor footwear is not permitted on poolside or in our changing facilities; overshoe covers are provided at the entrance and must be worn at all times.
- No abuse will be tolerated towards teachers or pupils.
- You will be responsible for your children at all times before and after the lessons, the Aqua Swim School will take no responsibility.
- No food or drink may be brought onto the poolside. Pushchairs are not permitted on poolside.
- Please only enter the pools facilities, including the changing rooms, 10 minutes prior to the commencement of your child’s lesson.
- Aqua Swim School take no responsibility for loss or damage to property. Please take all valuables onto the poolside, do not leave them in the changing room cubicles.
- You are responsible for the children that you bring with you, so please do not let your children play around the car park or school. This includes children that are friends or family that are not swimming.
- The car park has a speed limit so please do take care and keep to it.
- All children who are not completely toilet trained are to wear swim pants.
- All swimmers, please refrain from wearing jewellery whenever possible.
- All swimmers must wear a swim hat. We sell these for £4.00 per hat (cash only) if you don't already own one.
- At the end of each term, each swimmer will be assessed in order to progress onto the next stage, grade, skill or distance. This progression does not mean they will progress into the next class. For the swimmers who successfully complete an assessment; badges and certificates can be purchased for £4.00.
