Track & Trace

We have a track & trace system in place, In the unlikely event that there is a cluster of cases linked to the premises, your details will be passed on and you will be contacted by NHS Scotland.

 

Missed Lessons due to COVID-19 Related Illness and/or Isolation or any other illness. 

In the event of any missed lessons and in the interest of sustainability of lessons McLaren Leisure are unable to offer any refunds, credits or make up classes.  If you are unwell please ensure you do not attend your swimming lessons. 

 

Attendance

Do not arrive early for your session, Customers should arrive for class no more than 5 minutes before. We will only accept customers into the building at their allocated times to adhere to government guidelines on capacity numbers for the building. Session entry will close when lessons begin. No credits or refunds will be given for missed classes. Please follow COVID-19 related guidance.

 

COVID-19 Guidance

1.Do not attend lessons if you or anyone in your household has any symptoms related to COVID-19.

 

2. Please arrive BEACH READY, we advise that you think about poncho towels, onesies or similar to allow for quick change post swimming to reduce amount of time spent in the changing area. 

 

3.Though toilets are available within the centre we ask that where possible swimmers use the toilet at home before arriving at McLaren Leisure. 

 

4.Rinse only showers are available for entering the pool. Please shower at home to minimise amount of time spent in the changing area. 

 

5. There will be strictly no spectators allowed within McLaren Leisure during swimming lessons time. Please wait in the carpark/outside and observe social distancing.

 

6.Please sanitise your hands upon arrival and exit of the facility. Face coverings are mandatory within the building.

Registration & Medical Information

McLaren Leisure Centre provides everyone with a registration and medical form. This must be completed and signed declaring any known medical conditions. Should any of this information change you should contact McLaren Leisure to update your details. While no spectators are allowed it is even more important to keep these details up to date. 

 

 

 

Lesson Fees

Course fees for all lessons will vary from term to term. Customers will not be permitted to participate in any lessons until appropriate fees are paid in full.

 

Cancellations & Refund policy

A refund may be requested in writing to the manager within seven days of the commencement of a block of

lessons. There after refunds will not be given as this will result in an un sellable space. Credits may be given in

special circumstances. Please email reception@mclarenleisure.co.uk

 

Adverse Weather Conditions

Due to extreme weather conditions, the decision may be taken to close the Leisure Centre, on such occasions

our lessons will not run. In the event of this happening you will be contacted by McLaren staff and credits will be issued. If we experience extreme weather but can open, our lessons will still run, no credits will be given for missed lessons.

 

Valuables

Please keep personal belongings to a minimum. McLaren Leisure Centre will not accept liability for the loss of or damage to any personal effects brought to any session. All belongings are to be placed in a locker and the keys kept on your person and not left in the changing area.

 

Behaviour

In the event of an attendee refusing to adhere instruction from a member of staff, behaving in an unruly manner

or causing damage to the premises or any of the furniture, fixtures or equipment the attendee shall not be permitted to continue with their class. McLaren Leisure Centre shall then have the right to terminate the customer’s attendance to the block without further notice and without being required to offer any credit or refund.

 

Personal Audio Visual Equipment

No mobile phones and/or audio visual equipment of any kind are allowed during lessons.

 

Transition of Infections

Any participant known to be or found to be suffering from any infectious ailment or condition will not be allowed to participate in the lesson and it is the responsibility of each participant/parent/guardian to ensure that the participant is fit and well enough to participate. McLaren Community Leisure Centre

will not accept liability for any infection passed to a participant by another on the course. In cases of diarrhoea participants will not be permitted in swimming pool during, or for 48 hours after last case. Those diagnosed with cryptosporidium must not swim for 14 days after diarrhoea has stopped.
