Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions, and please note that links to our policies and procedures are at the bottom of this page.

Block Bookings:

  • Your payment reserves your child's place for the block booking. We do not offer credits or refunds if a lesson is missed by the swimmer.
  • If for any reason Swim Squad has to cancel a lesson, the cost of that lesson will be deducted from your next payment block, in the event that we are unable to reschedule.

Sickness:

  • Swimmers should not attend their lesson for 48 hours after experiencing vomiting or diarrhoea.
  • Swimmers who are experiencing any infectious illneses should not attend their lesson until the infectious period is fully over.
  • Swimmers suffering with infections in relation to their ears, eyes, sinuses or chest should not attend their lesson until medically fit to do so.
  • Swimmers should avoid full meals close to their lesson time. Light snacks would be suitable, as lessons could be cancelled if someone vomits in the water.

Individual and/or medical needs:

  • Parents should fully disclose details of any medical and/or learning needs of a swimmer at initial registration/enrollment, or when diagnosed if the swimmer has already commenced with lessons.

Parental responsibility:

  • Parents are responsible for their children within the swimming pool grounds, building and changing rooms, please do not leave children unattended.
  • Parents / guardians are permitted on poolside; however, if the poolside area becomes too busy, we may ask that 1 x parent leaves, (you may swap during the lesson). If your child has any specific needs which means a second parent/guardian is required on poolside, that can be arranged.
  • Instructors are responsible for the children during their lesson; however, 1 x parent per child must stay on poolside in the event that their child requires assistance out of the water, i.e. medical need or toilet, etc.
